Snowdon shared that locals and nearby residents have raised safety concerns. “I’ve received many messages about near misses where drivers try to merge into the A34 southbound lane, which is signposted, only to realize at the last moment that the correct southbound flow is to the right,” he explained.
He emphasized the danger of mixing unfamiliar travelers with locals who already know the layout but may overlook road signs, saying it creates conditions that are “a recipe for disaster.”
